Daily Journal Justice Bendix honored by L.A. County bar's ADR section

Justice Helen I. Bendix of the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, was honored by the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Section with its inaugural ADR Distinguished Service Award. The recognition celebrates her longstanding contributions to the development and practice of alternative dispute resolution and her leadership in promoting effective settlement and dispute-resolution processes.

Before joining the Court of Appeal, Justice Bendix served for more than two decades on the Los Angeles Superior Court, including as supervising judge of the Mandatory Settlement Courts. Throughout her career, she has played a significant role in advancing court-connected settlement initiatives and shaping ADR policy in California through her leadership on judicial committees and advisory bodies.
