Antitrust

Antitrust laws forbid businesses from monopolizing markets and restraining free trade. In particular, antitrust cases are often costly to businesses due to potential fines and damages. Our Firm provides advice that helps businesses minimize risks, but yet, allows for maximum flexibility to realize their business objectives. Our Firm has advised clients on virtually every area of antitrust laws, including misuse of intellectual properties, standard setting organizations, licensing restrictions, marketing and distribution practices, pricing issues, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions.

Our Firm is able to represent clients from a variety of industries in federal and state court cases involving antitrust issues, such as private civil litigation or civil and criminal investigations by the Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, and state attorney generals. In addition, our Firm represents clients before California state courts in competition-related cases under the California Cartwright Act and California Business and Professions Code 17200.
